PERSONAL PROJECTS: 52 WEEKS, 52 PHOTOS
Inspired by Jim Brandenburg’s oustanding project called “Chasing the Light” I decided to throw myself a challenge back in September 2006.
I took on a personal project called “52 Weeks, 52 Photos”. However, contrary to professional photographer Jim Brandenburg who allowed himself just one click of the shutter per day, for 90 days straight, I gave myself a bit more leeway. I put no restrictions on the number of exposures I could make, as long as I photographed at least once every week and produced one respectable image per week. After all I have a full-time job to mind as well.
I started “52 Weeks, 52 Photos” in the vernal equinox, continued through the December solstice, through the autumnal equinox and the March solstice, ending the project in September 2007. What follows are the 52 images I chose from each week of the project.
