Work in progress. The zoo is a magical place to spend an afternoon with a camera. The wealth of animal subjects so easily available can transport you to far away places when engaged through the lens.

Animals in captivity can be a controversial subject at times, but generally most reputable zoos are involved in education of the public about wildlife as well as research and conservation programmes. As such zoos often serve an important purpose in modern way of life.
